Declaration Shaw & Nats Park are dining destinations for artisanal pizzas, American favorites, and craft signature cocktails in a buzzing, rustic-modern space that plays tribute to our Founding Fathers.
Declaration Shaw is your neighborhood go-to for pizza and happy hour, whether for date night or before heading over to the 9:30 Club for a show or catching a movie at Atlantic Plumbing Cinema. The interior of the space features unique conversation pieces that are a nod to the Declaration of Independence with an underlying classic contemporary influence. Cozy up at the bar or grab a seat in front of the pizza over and watch your dinner being prepared.
The restaurant’s interior was designed by Matt McMullen, and Howard Connelly, who worked tirelessly to create a space that’s welcoming and complete with conversation pieces to enhance your dining experience.
Declaration Nats Park is larger than its original counterpart with seating for 100, an Ohio barn wood exterior, an outdoor walk-up bar, and interior finishing’s, like a steel panel wall with an American flag mural. The walk-up outdoor bar is the perfect spot before, during, or after the Nationals game with two flat screen TVs so as not to miss any winning plays. Whether it’s happy hour with friends before the game, lunch with coworkers, or brunch with the family before sightseeing around DC, Declaration Nats Park has something for everyone.
A special thanks to Roxanne Christie who so passionately designed Declaration Nats Park’s interior space. Roxanne has over 10 years of experience in the decorative finishing and creative arts field. And has previously worked at Swatchroom and learned from popular DC artist, Maggie O’Neill.
Both pizza-centric restaurants offer lunch, dinner, happy hour, weekend brunch, and even delivery.
